CEVIC School for the Blind

Two of our teachers travel to CEVIC school for the blind to teach music to 50 children with visual impairment. Ismail — himself blind — teaches keyboard and brass, while Denis leads singing and dancing. With support from Music for Children, the students staged their own concert, fittingly named “We Can Do It”.

  • Brass enrollment grew from 8 to 12 students
  • Keyboard taught by Ismail, a blind teacher — music truly has no limits
  • The children performed their own “We Can Do It” concert

  • Eight dances introduced — two already fully choreographed
  • Parents and the whole community celebrate the program
