Free music education for less privileged children and youth in Uganda — over 400 lives already transformed.
Africa Music School is a fully registered NGO that offers free music education to less privileged children and youth. For children who would love to access music education but cannot afford to pay for it, AMS is bridging the gap. Since 2017, using music as a tool, we have impacted over 400 children through music education, life skills and psycho-social support.
We at Africa Music School want to establish the first music university in Africa, centered in East Africa, Uganda. AMS reaches out to all youths, orphans, vulnerable and less privileged children to help them discover their talents and skills through music.
Nearly 270 children and youths benefit from our programs — most of them cannot afford a school education. We use music to reach them, touch their hearts and souls, and give free music lessons to everyone, especially the less privileged in the community, so they can discover their full potential.
